LabelBaby helps parents read baby and toddler food labels with confidence. The first two years of feeding involve constant judgement calls — when to introduce an allergen, whether added sugar is hiding behind a fruit concentrate, whether a pouch marketed for six months is actually appropriate for six months. LabelBaby scans the product and answers those questions against age-appropriate guidance instead of marketing claims.
The app flags the nine major allergens, highlights added sugars and sodium relative to age-based reference intakes, and explains unfamiliar ingredients in language that does not assume a nutrition background. Parents can save a profile for each child, including known allergies and current feeding stage, so the same product can be graded differently for a seven-month-old than for a toddler.
LabelBaby is built by MetricPoint alongside Foodsage, which focuses on food sensitivities and autoimmune-aware eating, and SafaScan, which verifies halal status.
